I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hola a tod@s:

Me gustaría compartir con todos vosotros una gran noticia para mi: ¡ME VOY A TRABAJAR A ESTADOS UNIDOS! Concretamente a la capital de Oklahoma (Oklahoma city).

Estoy todavía en "estado de shock", pero muy contenta...ya que esto es un programa ofertado a nivel nacional, y no es tan fácil obtener una plaza. Va a ser una experiencia increíble para mí, no solo para mi carrera profesional y mi inglés, sino también para mi propia persona.

Me han comunicado que allí voy a trabajar como TUTORA, dando todas las clases en inglés (maths, literacy, arts...).

Siendo sincera, me va a dar MUCHA MUCHA pena el tener que despedirme de vosotros cuando acabe el curso en junio, pero tengo intención de seguir en contacto con todos aquellos que queráis desde allí; ya sea a través de e-mail, teléfono, skype, este blog...

Hasta entonces, seguiremos trabajando duro, aprendiendo muuuuchoooooooo inglés, y pasándolo muy bien en clase, como hacemos a diario.

Team group! Cooperative-collaborative learning

Since the beginning of the school year, we have been working in groups. As we are 25 students in class, we are sitting in 5 teams of 4 members (there is just one group with 6 members). Each student has a duty in the group.

The dutties are:

BOOKS MONITOR: gives books to their classmates.
MATERIALS MONITOR: gives the material.
SILENCE MONITOR: has to ask for slience when the students are talking out of turn.
GROUP LEADER: the one who makes decisions and reports to the teacher the group decisions.

Groups were named bu number (group number one, group number two...), so we decided to give each group a NAME. The students chose a name, a COLOUR a SYMBOL a SONG and a DANCE that represents their team.

We were showing the dances in class one day. We had lots of fun!!! We have also made labels on the tables.
