VETERANS DAY
Tomorrow is a very important day in United States. We are celebrating VETERANS DAY.
Veterans Day is celebrated the 11th of November.
Veterans are people who have served in The United States Military,
On Veterans Day we say thank you to all veterans for their service to our country.

NOUNS and VERBS
We learnt about NOUNS and PROPER NOUNS a month ago.
Nouns are words that name: ANIMALS, PLACES, PEOPLE and THINGS.
Proper nouns are nouns which need to start with CAPITAL LETTER because they are important. Names/ surnames , holidays, month of the year, days of the week, places, countries, cities start with capital letter.
Verbs are words that show ACTION.

Cartas van...cartas vienen.....
¡Qué bonito el volver a recuperar esa forma de comunicación...que tanta ilusión nos hacia a todos....(y que creo nos sigue haciendo....).
Ir al buzón y, a parte de facturas, propaganda,... encontrar una carta...¡es genial! Hace ilusión.
Al llegar a Estados Unidos se me ocurrió una idea....."¿Por qué no mis alumnos escriben cartas y se las mandos a mis alumnos y niñ@s del Infanta? Así podrían conocerse, comunicarse ....pueden aprender a escribir en inglés de una forma muy motivadoda y natural....pueden hacer un amigo americano....¡QUÉ GENIAL!
¿Que los niños no saben escribir cartas? ¡¡No hay ningún problema!! ¡Para eso estamos las profesoras! Para ayudarles, enseñarles, darles modelos y herramientas....etc. :) Así poco a poco irán aprendiendo.
Mis alumnos de Oklahoma son de primero, y están aprendiendo ahora mismo a escribir. Por eso considero que también a ellos les va a venir fenomenal esta actividad.
Bueno, pues esa idea... ¡¡se ha convertido en un hecho!! ¡¡Se ha puesto en marcha!!! ¡¡Las primeras cartas ya están mandadas!! 10 dias tardarán en llegar a Madrid aproximadamente....Qué ganas tengo de recibir un mensaje vuestro o e-mail que diga: "¡HAN LLEGADO!".
Si alguien quiere unirse a esta actividad solo tiene que mandarme un email a mi correo electrónico...

Halloween is coming...
Halloween is coming!!!! Trick or treat?

In my school, we are doing different activities along this week....
- On Monday, we had to come to school wearing crazy hair and mismatched shoes.
- On TuesdaY, we came wearing a mustache.
- On ThursdaY, we wore a T-shirt inside out.
- And, on Friday,......we have to be a SUPERHERO! ....or wear a costume related with a popular tale. I will be a LITTLE PIG, because I LOVE the story of the Three little pigs!
